KRC replaced the stairwell lighting in 40, 44 and 50 St Georges Terrace, supplying and installing enLighten Chamaeleon LED fittings with emergency backup, microwave movement sensors and remote-control adjustability.
The fittings can switch off entirely until movement is detected, or sit at a low-output standby and boost to 100% on movement — so the stairwells are lit when needed without wasting power when they're empty. The result was approximately an 80% saving in power.
