WHAT IS AN RCD?
An RCD or Residual Current Device is a protective device that limits the amount of current that can flow through in a fault condition to below the level that can seriously hurt the average person.
WHY IS RCD TESTING IMPORTANT?
RCDs must be tested by law to ensure they are in safe working order so that in the event of a fault they are ready to save lives. Unserviced equipment can seize up or just go un noticed for years. Many insurance companies or lease agreements require regular testing to be carried out to comply with the terms and agreements.
REASON WHY YOU SHOULD GET KRC ELECTRICAL
Unlike some electricians, we test your RCDs completely to ensure they will trip within the correct amount of time and within the specified current levels. Plain push button testing on the RCD doesn't ensure the safety of you, your family, staff or pets.
